WHAT IS ERGONOMICS?
Ergonomics is not just about fixing aches and pains. It involves optimising physical, cognitive and organisational workflow equally. We don’t all work in exactly the same way, so it is important to tailor your workstation to your individual needs. If you have pain or an injury, assessing your work environment can help you recover. However, getting an ergonomic workstation assessment even before you have any problem can prevent musculoskeletal disorders in the future.

The legislation governing home working is the same for office workers in relation to responsibilities. If employees are allowed to, or required to work from home, employers still need to abide by the same regulations pertaining to VDU/DSE legislation.
